Flexibility is part of how someone responds to friction, difference, irritation, and other people’s mistakes.
When this is higher, a person is often more patient, forgiving, and willing to soften conflict.
When this is lower, a person may be more blunt, more hard-edged, or less willing to absorb inconvenience from others.
This shows up in arguments, teamwork, family life, and whether tension escalates quickly or gets metabolized calmly.
High agreeableness can slide into self-silencing. Lower agreeableness can protect standards, but it can also wear down relationships.
