Sociability
Extraversion
Sociability is about how much a person enjoys being around other people and seeks out social contact.
When this is higher, a person often seems more outgoing, animated, and socially comfortable.
When this is lower, a person may be more reserved, private, quiet, or selective about where they put social energy.
This can shape friendship, networking, visibility, public presence, and how draining or energizing social situations feel.
High extraversion can crowd out reflection, while low extraversion can be misread as disinterest even when it is simply a different energy style.
HEXACO-PI-R 100 is the framework used to place this trait in a larger personality map.
A score here is best treated as a tendency, not a verdict. It helps describe patterns, not define a whole person.
