Love of Learning is a character strength connected to learning, perspective, and the way someone engages with ideas or possibility.
When this stands out, a person often brings more insight, curiosity, perspective, or imagination to daily life.
When this is less central, other strengths may be more prominent in how the person moves through the world.
Character strengths are useful because they highlight what is life-giving or energizing, not just what is difficult or risky.
A strength can still be overused. Even good qualities become less helpful when they crowd out balance, realism, or other people’s needs.
VIA Inventory of Strengths is the framework used to place this trait in a larger personality map.
