Social Intelligence
Humanity
Social Intelligence is a character strength grounded in warmth, care, and understanding other people well.
When this stands out, a person often feels more relationally attuned, caring, and emotionally present.
When this is less central, the person may still be kind, but through more practical or reserved forms rather than overt warmth.
These strengths shape closeness, care, rapport, and how emotionally safe other people feel around you.
Interpersonal warmth is powerful, but it can also become overextension when boundaries disappear.
VIA Inventory of Strengths is the framework used to place this trait in a larger personality map.
A score here is best treated as a tendency, not a verdict. It helps describe patterns, not define a whole person.
